Fuse SPORT is looking to add to its record of success in the world of ‘odd-shaped balls’ with the news that the Manchester-based agency has been taken on to represent the current captain of England’s Rugby League team Jamie Peacock.
Captain Peacock Fuse will now be emulating its work with a host of sporting stars, ranging from Paul Robinson to Ricky Hatton (although How-Do understands Fuse no longer works with Hatton), and seeking to help the player “maximise his sponsorship opportunities.”This task should be helped by the appearance on the schedules of next month’s Rugby League World Cup in Australia, as well as the fact that the Leeds Rhino star was this week selected in the Super League ‘Dream Team’ for a record seventh time. Peacock has also played for the Bradford Bulls and captained the Great Britain side in its historic series whitewash over New Zealand in 2007. Fuse SPORT director and co-founder Adam Roland said of his new charge: “Jamie is a consummate professional and a fantastic role model, attributes which should make him a very attractive proposition to brands and sponsors. “We are delighted to have him on board during this exciting time for Rugby League and we look forward to a successful and rewarding partnership.” www.fuse-sport.com Something to add?
