Manchester creative agency Hemisphere designed and built a full sized elephant for the Imperial War Museum’s latest exhibition, The Animals' War, which runs until next January.
A film following the construction of the elephant can be seen at:

The elephant, unsurprisingly dubbed Nellie, weighs 1.1 tonnes, is over three metres long, 1.6 metres wide and is 2.2 metres high.
Nellie was made from laminated plywood and consists of 41 die-cut pieces. north.iwm.org.uk
