InfoUK has blown its own staffing predictions out of the water by racing to a headcount in excess of 100 in its first year in business.
O'Driscoll: number 100+ The research, data and listing specialist only opened the doors at its Old Trafford base this year, informing How-Do that it hoped its aim of providing comprehensive listings of every UK business would lead to an operation with over 50 members of staff. That, however, appears to have been a conservative estimate from the US-headquartered company, which has just added to its recent appointment of Steve Heath with another senior recruit. In the latest development Marc O’Driscoll has signed on as head of sales with a remit of driving growth targets, as well as managing the sales team and recruiting further members of staff. O'Driscoll comes to the firm with over 18 years of sales experience, including a two year stint as sales director for Monster.co.uk and a tenure as head of sales for Equifax. He said of the new post: “What impressed me most about infoUK is its vision. “It knows exactly where it wants to be and how to get there, and is truly bringing something new to the market – this certainly makes my job a lot easier and I'm really excited about the opportunities and challenges ahead.” www.infouk.com
