infoUK.com appoints Andy Taylor head of marketing and product development |

infoUSA the NASDAQ quoted business information company has appointed Andy Taylor as the head of marketing and product development at its infoUK.com division which is due to launch in the UK shortly.
 Taylor The company recently announced the appointment of Richard Lloyd as general manager . A further 60 people have been taken on at the company’s UK base in Manchester.
infoUSA intends to launch into the UK a series of products and services based on those it has developed in the USA. Taylor joins infoUK.com from business information company Ai having previously also held senior positions with D&B, Experian and Ebiquita.
He said: “With the track record of our parent company in the US, we are well placed to offer a real alternative in the UK due to the strength of our data and product range. “The role is a fantastic challenge and opportunity. I will be working closely with the development teams in the USA and with the UK market to develop and successfully launch products that will form a key part of our clients’ business processes – helping them to win more profitable business.” infoUK.com’s UK Business Database is targeted at list brokers, agencies and companies. The company initially intends to offer contact names and addresses of over 2.5 million actively trading businesses together with over three million contacts.
In the US, the company claims it has over four million customers. www.infoUK.com
