JLA revamps designs for Euro Capital of Culture

John Lennon Liverpool Airport is updating its public areas in line with anticipated Liverpool 08 activities with new visuals created by illustrator John McFaul.

The work, separate to a £500k design consultancy project currently being undertaken by Broome Jenkins, will be seen on murals, shuttles, baggage reclaim and other public areas.

The colours follow the style of the design for the Liverpool 08 logo which was created by Liverpool agency Finch in 2004.

The design explores images of Liverpool and elsewhere in the region including Manchester, the Lakes and Blackpool.
