Mouths on the fashion and marketing circuits started wagging recently after the disappointing showing of the duo’s latest ITV outing ‘Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation.’
T&S: still attractive to Littlewoods
Littlewoods sponsored the series and focused its £4m summer marketing push on activity surrounding the pair.
However, contrary to speculation that they would now be dropped, the firm appears to be standing firmly beside their brand ambassadors.
The statement reads as follows:
“Littlewoods Direct has had a long standing and fruitful relationship with Trinny and Susannah over a number of years.
This relationship continues with the girls currently developing their new range for Spring/Summer 09.
Littlewoods Direct is currently waiting confirmation from ITV with regards to any further programming.”
It has been rumoured that further series of ‘Undress the Nation’ may not be commissioned as a result of the poor audience figures.
