Major exhibition of Rodger and Magnum photos at the IWMN |

The Imperial War Museum North and international photo agency Magnum have joined forces to display over 100 photographs by Cheshire-born wartime photojournalist George Rodger.
 © George Rodger/Magnum Photos The exhibition will run until 27 April. Manchester consultancy Hemisphere has designed the exhibition which occupies 500 sq m of space. The agency has also produced related marketing material including posters and advertising.
The exhibition celebrates both Rodger’s centenary and his approach to photojournalism in wartime. The photos are displayed chronologically from World War II to post war Africa.
Rodger’s war experiences included being one of the first photographers to enter Belsen concentration camp in 1945.
