Manchester City FC has signed up Chris Kay from London ad agency Fallon in the new role of head of marketing.
Global goals for City
Kay reportedly joins the team in July and will be charged with developing the appeal of the City brand to audiences across the globe.

The club's ambitious owners are intent on making the team one of the biggest international brands in the game and will be looking to Kay, who was head of account management at Fallon, to help facilitate this.

He will report in to brand and marketing officer David Pullan, himself a recent recruit from the agency side of the fence.

City - which, according to some commentators, has been a doing a great job of its PR of late - recently signed deals with kit supplier Umbro and shirt sponsors Etihad.
