Business North West has confirmed that Max Clifford will be speaking at the event on 20 November at Manchester Central.

Clifford
He’s one of the most powerful men in public relations, with more than 40 years’ experience.

"When trading is difficult, PR and marketing budgets are often the first to be slashed, when in fact publicity could be the key to survival," said Scott Hider, managing director of Business North West.

"Max will give attendees great advice on why public relations is so important and the most effective way to get a message across to the relevant audience. Max has and does work with a number of famous clients, from the Beatles to Simon Cowell, from Mohammed Ali to Frank Sinatra and from Pimlico Plumbers to Harrods and the Lawn Tennis Association, looking after their interests and protecting careers which have often taken years to build."

Clifford founded Max Clifford Associates in 1967 and claims he’s never had to pitch for work.
