Lancashire creative and design community GroupHub has announced the next events in its 2008 line-up.
On the 30 January ‘Industry Awards – Start Collecting Now’ will be held at The Forum in Preston, looking into the strange science of achieving success in creative award schemes. DBA chief executive Deborah Dawton, D&AD director Holly Hall and The Chip Shop Awards’ Linda Forest will be there to unveil the tricks of the trade that could help creatives bag bigger hauls at their next event. Awards veteran, and no doubt owner of impressively festooned mantelpiece, Richard Scholey (creative director of Elmwood) will also be on hand. The next happening takes place, again at The Forum, on 19 March and looks at the innovative presentation phenomenon of Pecha Kucha – which the Group Hub blog explains far better than we can. All events are free. Find out more at http://www.grouphub.org/blog/ Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
