Following last year’s 02 Media Awards in Cheshire and Merseyside, the telephone giant has looked east to do a version in Yorkshire and Humberside.
It will be looking for the best journalists working in written media and broadcast as well as photographers.

Organisers have looked to this side of the Pennines to provide the judging talent, Granada’s head of news Richard Frediani, Liverpool Daily Post editor Mark Thomas and Warrington Guardian editor Nicola Priest will be on the panel.
