Northwest Vision and Media reveals full details of £360k RAF awards | Print |  Email to a friend

Creative and digital industry support body Northwest Vision and Media has revealed the full details of the nine regional firms that have been awarded grants through its Regional Attraction Fund (RAF).

In total the organisation has allocated £360,000 to four businesses from Manchester, four from Liverpool and one from Lancashire.

The recipients are, with funding in brackets: From Manchester; Channel K (£50k), Nine Lives (£25k), Firestep (£50k) and StarDotStar (£50K); from Liverpool; Kisky Netmedia (£50k), Onteca (£50k) and CL5 (£50K.

In Lancashire production company RealTimeUK received £25k.

In a statement from Northwest Vision and Media, chief executive Alice Morrison commented: “We’re incredibly excited to be able to offer this support to help some of the region’s fantastic creative companies to grow and develop.

“Since April 2007, we’ve contributed £12.9m in gross value added to the Northwest economy by investing in 131 SME’s and creating 147 jobs, which is a fantastic record.

“The Northwest has long been at the forefront of the creative and digital industries and RAF enables us to further reinforce the region’s reputation for producing exceptional creative talent.”
