Out There Events is seemingly continuing its current rich vein of form, with the news that the firm has won the contract to stage the Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Awards 2008.
Over the past few weeks the Manchester-based events team has won briefs from Ask Developments and Crosby Lend Lease, and will now be organising the 15th annual MEN event, which celebrates outstanding businesses throughout Greater Manchester.
Out There will be involved in every stage of the process – managing the judging of the awards, through to sponsorship management, delegate liaison and set design.
Laura Wolfe, sales director at the firm, said of the new brief: “It’s fantastic to be working with the Manchester Evening News on such an important event within Manchester’s business calendar. We are looking forward to delivering a first class Awards’ ceremony.”
The Awards will take place on 6 November at the Midland Hotel, Manchester
In other news at Out There, the firm has boosted staff numbers with its fourth new recruit in as many weeks.
This time round the new face is Adam McGowan, who joins as in-house creative designer.
