Wilmslow based Promotion Space Group, which manages in-store promotions for over 50 shopping centres and 250 UK retailers, has acquired changing room media specialists Fitting Exposure for an undisclosed sum.
Fitting Exposure has made a name for itself by providing poster sites in the dressing rooms of leading high-street retailers such as TK Maxx, Miss Selfridge, New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Top Man. It currently manages over 20,000 sites throughout the UK, Ireland and France. The acquisition marks the first of Promotion Space’s planned moves to bolster its position in the retail marketplace following on from a capital investment from Octopus last year. As CEO Steve Hughes explained: "Acquiring Fitting Exposure really helps strengthen our offering to brands. "Having such a solid presence in changing room media means even more opportunities for our client brands to speak one-on-one with receptive, mass market audiences; changing room media is an extraordinarily effective marketing tool, and one that sits especially well with our target markets." Promotion Space claims that ‘mall promotions’ are an effective way of reaching 7million shopping centre visitors every year. The firm currently exclusively supplies and manages promotions for retailers such as Wyevale, Woolworths and The Range. http://www.promotion-space.com/ Something to add?
