Charlotte Dewhurst, until recently the global product marketing manager for Reebok’s women’s lifestyle ranges, has joined Lancashire-based The Grocery Company as product manager.
Dewhurst The Grocery Company, which has the licence to sell numerous restaurant branded products through retailers, will now charge Dewhurst with masterminding the marketing support for their brands and extending their reach into “new and exciting areas.” She will report directly to the firm’s marketing director Ben Johnson. Dewhurst’s appointment comes on the back of a strong period of growth for The Grocery Company, which last year added wagamama sauces and Pizza Express dressings to a portfolio that includes vegetarian brand Cranks and Nando’s. Johnson said he was excited to have Dewhurst onboard and added: “Charlotte’s ambition, drive and love of food will serve her well as The Grocery Company embarks on its next phase of growth.” The firm has a reputation for looking locally when it comes to sourcing agency support and currently employs creative agency Love and PR firm Brazen.
