Research company Corpfin, which provides information on international corporate finance and UK companies, has been acquired by industry giant Experian.
The Manchester based firm, founded in 1994, has reportedly been working closely with Experian for the last ten years across numerous projects. As such Brian Rarity, one of the firm’s co-founders, was quoted in the industry press as saying that the deal would come as “no surprise” to those familiar with the business. Corpfin has a range of well-established research products providing business intelligence to the global market; these include CompanyQuery, CompanyBrief and CompanyPrep. The value of the deal between the two firms was not disclosed. www.corpfin.co.uk
