Vision Media Group claims continued recovery with mall expansion | Print |  Email to a friend
Thursday, 21 August 2008
Vision Media Group, which earlier this week launched its very own ‘IPod’, has added 33 further shopping malls to its network in a move that it claims will augment annual income by around £1.5m.

Vision Media Group, which earlier this week launched its very own ‘IPod’, has added 33 further shopping malls to its network in a move that it claims will augment annual income by around £1.5m.
Pods: coming to a mall near you
The firm is now effectively the media owner of a portfolio of 57 malls and over 500 advertising panels, 350 of which will be of the new Iconic Pod variety.

In a statement to the AIM market yesterday, the group chairman Mike Cottman said that the new agreements heralded the firm’s desire to “dominate the UK shopping mall market.”

If VMG can make the most of the new opportunities it will mark a significant turnaround for a firm that experienced wholesale staff cuts and financial difficulties in the last financial year.

Sales partner Clear Channel UK will sell the new mall space.
