Merseyside-based provider of city centre serviced apartments Your City Base has recruited Rebecca Furlong to head its marketing team.

Furlong joins from Design Foundry where she held the position of senior designer and was responsible for design, PR and marketing for clients such as Move Publishing, Keppie Massie and George Wimpey.

Stuart Cockram, director of Your City Base, said of his new recruit: “Rebecca’s move to Your City Base and the wealth of experience she brings in customer service and marketing is a huge asset for the team.

“With the Capital of Culture in full swing, 2008 will be a strategic year in the development of Your City Base and Rebecca’s appointment is testimony to our belief in the strength of the city.“
