streetGov, an online research agency based in Cheshire which specialises in ‘youth’ research has won a contract to analyse visitor response to an initiative devised for Red Bull: Red Bull Bedroom Jam.
In September 2007 Red Bull launched Bedroom Jam – a website which aims to offer young bands and musicians the opportunity to perform in front of a global audience.
Bands and musicians under 19 years old can record themselves performing and upload their videos on the website for others to view and rate them. A Liverpool band, The Press, was a recent performer, broadcasting live from their bedroom.
The ‘Red Bull Bedroom Jam Team’ consists of experienced professionals in video production, sound recording and live webcasting. streetGov, a JV between Ci Research of Cheshire and XTaster, was commissioned to analyse a variety of factors relating to the site and the early feedback suggest the Red Bull initiative is succeeding.
