Welcome to the weekly Wrap from How-Do - media news for the North West. The Wrap's guest editor this week is Matt Whyatt Imagine growing up in the North West today. Our region must seem like the most exciting place in the world and you can achieve anything you want. You could be taught by one of the most energetic men on the planet, imagine having John Robb as your teacher! John is one of the most enthusiastic people I've ever met and it's great to hear that he's going to be spreading his amazing passion on to the next generation. It's been a busy week in my industry. Half of North West radio travelled down to London for the Arqiva commercial radio awards. Being nominated is fantastic but it's all about the win. Congratulations to 107.6 Juice FM in Liverpool and Vicky Sanders at Key 103. Why do we always have to travel down to London? Wouldn't it be great to do it up here? I've recently started to get fit. Going for a run isn't something I'd naturally want to do but I'm getting used to it. It's funny how you become more aware of sporting advertisements after you've taken it up. The New Balance campaign from PHD North does the job, hopefully I'll still be running into the winter! Talking of advertising campaigns, good luck to Love on the Yorkshire Tea pitch. It's a subject very close to my heart, how to make the perfect brew? Strong, no sugar is my preferred tipple. Have yourself a great weekend and if anyone spots a big yellow warm thing that goes by the name of Sun, tell him it's July and we'd like to see him.
