The four shortlisted agencies bidding for Magnet’s media buying business are now believed to be down to two: Universal McCann and MediaVest.
Kitchen company Magnet, based in Darlington, initially invited four Manchester agencies to present for the media business.
The media account is worth around £7.5m in spend. Universal McCann is Magnet’s current agency.
Magnet's advertising is typically characterised by sales, special offers and local promotions.
