Court ruling sees Sim quit Love

The North West design and advertising industry was left stunned yesterday by the departure of Alistair Sim from Love, the creative agency he co-founded seven years ago, following his appearance before Stockport Magistrates Court this week.

The gloves are off in the congestion charge battle as broadcasting regulator Ofcom has launched an investigation into a recent ad after complaints were made.

Not only that, but plans to transmit it at peak time on Granada have been scuppered with ITV deciding to pull it until Ofcom makes a decision.
